April 30 for First Semester (September)
entry and

30 for Second Semester
(February) entry.
* Application
not nominated and acknowledged
by home university coordinators
will not be accepted.

We do not accept students with
only Taiwanese nationality.
Dual citizenships holders are
not restricted to this regulation,
but a copy of non-Taiwan
passport has to be provided. |

This is a
guaranteed
application. If you tick “Yes”, your accommodation
will be automatically arranged without further
notice. Please note that there is no on-campus
accommodation for couples or families. If you are
accompanied by your spouse or family, you will be
responsible for your own off-campus accommodation.
Important Notice:
For 2009/2010 academic year, all incoming
exchange and visiting students would be assigned to
the Prince House-NTU ShuiYuan dorms, except the
students who are exempt
from accommodation fees (
See important note 3. below). |

Important Notes
1) Prince House-NTU Dorms are
contracted out, built and operated by the Prince
Housing and Development Corp.
ChangHsing has been opened since September
2008, while ShuiYuang is newly opened in early 2009.
2) Due to the limited number of rooms, we cannot
guarantee that your most preferred type will be
granted. Therefore, please fill preferences for all
3 types in this part of the form.
3) Students who are exempted from accommodation fees
due to bilateral agreements will be provided with
IYC Twin Share. However, if IYC Twin Shares are
full, they may be assigned to other local
dormitories. It is not possible to change to other
types.
* If the students who receive free housing wish to
stay in Prince House- NTU Dorms, the
accommodation fee-waiver will be cancelled, and a
payment for the full amount of fee is required.
4) The male and the female rooms are separated in
all the NTU dormitories. According to NTU
Accommodation Regulations, students living on campus
are not allowed to host others in the dormitory
overnight.

The check-in date for on-campus
accommodation is
September
7,
2009 and February 20, 2010. Students
should arrange their flights to
arrive about this date.
A deposit should be paid upon check-in: NT$1,000
for IYC and two-month rent for Prince House.
The deposit is refundable after
returning the door security card
and the key upon check-out.) |

Students from the following universities
that offer free accommodation to NTU exchange
students do not need to pay their dorm
fees during their exchange in NTU: Freie Universität Berlin in Germany, Soka
University in Japan, Sunchon National University in Korea and
National University of Mongolia in Mongolia. |

Scholarship |

Currently NTU only offers scholarship to students from those universities that
offer
bilateral
scholarship
agreements with NTU.
For scholarship application, students have to be
nominated by their home universities.
