2017 Break n’ Fuse Festival on April 29

We are glad to inform you that we are going to hold Break n’ Fuse Festival on April 29.  This is a festival held for all (inter)national students annually to share their culture, handicrafts, and special cuisine to National Taiwan University and local Taiwanese. We sincerely invite you to bring your traditional costumes, gather international students from your country and register a Cultural Exhibit Booth for the festival.

 

We invite you to:

Rent a booth and share your culture, traditions, and sell the authentic food or handicrafts.

When: Saturday, April 29, 2017 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.)

Where: Zhoushan Rd., NTU campus

 

The festival is:

1.A platform where you can showcase the culture of your country with food, handicrafts, performances and cultural activities.

2.An event that promotes diversity and friendship among different cultures.

3.Free and open to the public.

 

Why should you be a part of this?

1. Meeting people from all over the world and making friends with local students.

2. A great opportunity to educate people about your country and its traditions, and increase understanding between cultures and combat stereotypes about your heritage.

3. Earn money by retaining 100% of the income plus extra TWD 500 decoration subsidy.

4. Each participants will be awarded with an official Culture Ambassador Certificate issued by the Office of International Affairs, NTU.

5. Join the booth decoration competition and get the chance to become the champion group with award

 

How to apply?

Step 1→Find your group: Find at least 2 guys which are from the country you would like to represent and form a group of at least 3 persons or more.

Step 2→Fill out the Form: Select a leader to complete the Online Application Form by March 31, 2017.

Step 3→Show up on the two meetings with your team members for further explain of the rules and policies of the event (The information of the meetings will be provided to all applicants soon).

-Group members wearing tradition costumes get more points from the competition.
