Visiting Student Program is designed for outstanding current students of overseas/partner institutions who wish to broaden their horizons while earning credits at NTU, one of the world's leading institutions of higher education. While enrolled as a non-degree-seeking but full-time student, you are permitted to gain access to and take advantage of NTU's fullest range of academic programs. The duration of studies ranges from one semester to one academic year.

College of Medicine does not admit visiting students at senior and graduate level for they are not eligible for practical training courses offered in the College of Medicine.
A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 or its equivalent is highly encouraged for students interested in courses in the College of Management.
Courses in Department of Anthropology may have specific Chinese proficiency requirements.
Students without special permission must take at least 2 courses or 4 credits, but no more than 25 credits for each semester at NTU.
If you are interested in conducting research and/or internship projects under supervision of a faculty member of NTU, and you do not intend to enroll in any course, you may consider applying to Research Visiting Program as an alternative.
You can choose to apply for one semester or one year of study in NTU.

Visiting students are permitted to take courses offered by departments/institutes outside of their majors, with some restrictions applied. Please see course syllabi for more information.

|The application fee is a non-refundable, one-time payment that must be paid by wire transfer before application deadline.||This administrative fee is paid by all students in the Visiting Student Program to cover expenses related to this self-funded program. This fee is charged per semester; for students enrolling for their first semester, the fee is paid by wire transfer to confirm the acceptance to the offer of admission. The payment deadline is Registration Day.||The Tuition Fee (international-degree-student rate) is collected by the University to make NTU's high-quality education accessible to visiting students. This fee is charged per semester and is paid in cash to the University Cashier, a convenience store or a post office by the Registration Day. An additional TWD 400 NTU Wireless Network will be applied to the tuition bill.|
You can find your beneficiary's account details on the 'Payment' section of the Online Application System. Please note that each applicant is assigned a unique beneficiary's account, and that you must only wire your payment to your own designated account.
We accept transfers in foreign currencies of equivalent value. Please consult your bank to determine the transfer amount as exchange rate may vary.

All visiting students must document their ability to meet all educational and living expenses at NTU, as the University does not offer financial supports to visiting students. If you will be attending NTU on a scholarship, you may provide relevant documents as a proof of financial statement.
