Orientation Septmeber 5 (Tue) 9.00am-12.00pm or 1.30pm-4.30pm (see your session assignment above) Liberal Education Classroom Building Room 101, 102, 103, or 201 (see your room assignment above)

All new international students are required to participate in Orientation, during which we will guide you through registration process, course selection, Visa matters, housing, and other practical tips on campus life. All new students are strongly encouraged to attend. There will be two sessions held, with the morning session from 9.00am to 12.00pm and the afternoon session from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Room assignment: morning room 101 for degree students; morning room 102 for visiting students (exclude entry permit holders) and university-level exchange students from Asia and the Americas (exclude entry permit holders); afternoon room 101 for all college-level exchange students and university-level exchange students from Europe and Oceania; afternoon 102 for all entry permit holders; afternoon 201 for students from University of California, California State University, and Waseda University who must also attend morning room 102 session

Registration September 6 (Wed) for degree and visiting students; September 8 (Fri) for university-level exchange students Time will be sent to you via email 4th Conference Room, 5F, 2nd Administration Building 

OIA will hold a session for the registration of all international students. After completing the registration procedures, you will receive your student ID card.For students who don't have insurance, there will be insurance company at site.

Students who enter Taiwan on an Entry Permit must complete a TWD 1,000 application fee payment in cash.


General Chinese Course - Registration & Placement Test

September 10 (Sun) 9.00am-12.00pm Freshman Classroom Building


Those who have never taken Chinese may be opt-out of the placement test. However you are still required to come for registration. Your absence on that day will be considered as cancellation of enrollment, so it is imperative that you arrive on time. The placement test may take about one to one and a half hour after registration.

Students must bring: (1) Your Student ID Card or Admission Letter (2) A Pen.

Come and enjoy the night of aboriginal dance, Chinese Opera, B-Box, DJ and pop music. All NTU students are welcome to join us. Participants (international students and their student volunteers) with electronic tickets can join our lucky draw and will be offered with Taiwanese snacks and drinks.
